Liberia joins the first wave of Agitos capacity development

An IPC review placed Liberia among the countries implementing national activities in the Agitos Foundation’s Organisational Capacity Programme in 2014. The initiative developed skills in leadership, management, governance and sport promotion. Programme leads had trained in Bonn before returning home to organise workshops, with ongoing mentoring and support. The article documents Liberia’s inclusion in this first wave of activity, while detailed examples concern other countries. It represents an early recorded step in strengthening the structures supporting Para sport.
