IPC grants help Malagasy athletes return and debut in Tunis

Aurélie Faravavy returned to international competition at the Tunis Grand Prix in June 2026 with support from an IPC Competition Support Grant. Her 14.34-second women’s 100m T11 performance was the second fastest of her career. Fellow Malagasy athlete Solomon Ratsararay Rasamimanana completed classification and made his international debut, recording a personal best of 5:12.54 in the men’s 1,500m T54. The support formed part of Sport for Mobility, giving athletes classification and competition opportunities as they worked towards future international goals.
