Black Challenge wins home gold at the first African Para Games
Ghana secured the amputee football title at the inaugural African Para Games after a 2–1 comeback victory over Morocco in Accra on 10 September 2023.

Ghana secured the amputee football title at the inaugural African Para Games after a 2–1 comeback victory over Morocco in Accra on 10 September 2023. The final at McDan La Town Park was decided in extra time, delivering a home gold medal for the Black Challenge.
The story
The World Amputee Football Federation subsequently confirmed the result. This was the multi-sport Games tournament, distinct from the African amputee championship titles Ghana won in Tanzania in 2021 and Egypt in 2024.
