Cape Coast camp gives young wheelchair tennis players practical training

Young wheelchair tennis players from several Ghanaian cities gathered at Cape Coast Sports Stadium on 27 November 2022 for a national training camp. Participants aged 11–18 received practical instruction from ITF consultant Holger Losch, supported by six local coaches.
The story
The programme, funded through the ITF wheelchair tennis department by the Johan Cruyff Foundation, combined on-court development with a visit to Cape Coast Castle. Organisers presented the juniors as an important part of the sport's future in Ghana.
