Libya signs Cottbus partnership to support athlete preparation

The Libyan Paralympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement with the German city of Cottbus, the IPC reported in November 2015. The partnership proposed training camps for national teams, sports equipment, rehabilitation services and treatment for sports injuries. Committee President Khalid Al-Rgaibi signed with Henry Crescini, an assistant to the mayor, and visited potential camp locations. The report records the agreement and its intended benefits for Libyan Para athletes; it does not establish when the proposed camps or services were delivered.
