Lesotho joins Southern African Para sport cooperation agreement

Lesotho’s NPC joined four neighbouring committees in signing a cooperation agreement during an IPC regional training camp in Lusaka. Held from 3 to 8 October 2011, the camp brought together almost 50 athletes, coaches and administrators. The agreement covered exchanges in training and competition, leadership development and greater awareness of Para sport. Its commitments also addressed accessibility and engagement with governments. For Lesotho, the initiative provided a regional framework for sharing knowledge and strengthening sporting opportunities alongside Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
