The Para sport story of Lesotho.
Lesotho’s Para sport development includes regional cooperation and youth athletics achievement. Its NPC signed a Southern African cooperation agreement during the 2011 IPC training camp in Lusaka. More than a decade later, sprinter Hlompho Kete’s medals at the 2021 and 2022 Region 5 Youth Games provided an athlete-centred example of that wider development landscape. IPC reporting documents her training, family support and ambitions to represent Lesotho internationally.
