Malawi marked two achievements after Tokyo 2020: Taonele Banda’s second successive Paralympic appearance and an I’mPOSSIBLE award for Lilongwe LEA School. A late-September gathering in Lilongwe brought education leaders, sports representatives and media together to recognise both. The school had used adaptable teaching materials and inclusive activities to connect pupils with and without disabilities. The IPC report also described planned equipment support for the school, linking international recognition with practical opportunities to extend participation and challenge exclusion through education.
