South Sudan won the IBSA Blind Football African Championships Division 2 title in 2025, with Uganda finishing second and Zimbabwe third. The IPC included the tournament in its December review of the year’s summer sports. Its account highlighted competitive opportunities for emerging players and the developing depth of blind football in the region. The three-country podium records achievements at a regional Division 2 championship. It should not be treated as a Paralympic Games medal result or a Division 1 continental title. The retrospective placed this African competition alongside other international sporting achievements from 2025.
