NATIONAL STORIES · SHARED AMBITION

The Para sport story of Benin.

Benin’s documented development has combined local talent identification with international learning. Agitos-supported projects in 2014 and 2015 helped establish regional structures and identify athletes, followed by a further athletics project announced in 2016. The country later participated in IPC-supported organisational training and a 2026 Para athletics mentoring camp in Rabat, illustrating successive stages of capacity building.
