Congolese delegation joins East African youth sport workshop

Athletes, coaches and youth coordinators from DR Congo joined an Agitos Foundation workshop that opened in Kigali on 13 February 2012. The regional camp brought together more than 50 athletes, 36 coaches and 12 youth coordinators from five countries. Sessions covered athletics, goalball and sitting volleyball alongside cultural exchange. Participants were being prepared to develop youth sport programmes at home, giving the Congolese delegation access to practical training and regional cooperation before the camp concluded on 18 February.
