NATIONAL STORIES · SHARED AMBITION

The Para sport story of DR Congo.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo entered the Paralympic Games at London 2012, represented in athletics by Levy Kitambala Kizito and Dedeline Mibamba Kimbata. IPC reporting also records Congolese participation in the 2012 Kigali youth workshop and the 2017 Lagos powerlifting training programme. These milestones connect international competition with the development of athletes, coaches and technical personnel.

Historical context is drawn from the linked IPC records. Dates and roles refer to the time of the original report.
