By June 2026, Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Seychelles and Sierra Leone had hosted IPC Local Leaders courses under Sport for Mobility. Training combined an introductory online session with three days of practical work. Participants prepared two-year action plans to widen grassroots participation and develop sustainable athlete pathways, with mentoring intended to support implementation. The wider initiative targeted at least 200 administrators from 50 lower-resourced national Paralympic committees. It emphasised local partnerships among coaches, officials and national federations. The source confirmed delivery of courses, without establishing completion of the subsequent action plans.
