Rwandan coaches introduce sitting volleyball in Rumbek

A delegation from NPC Rwanda delivered sitting volleyball theory and practical training in Rumbek, South Sudan, on 28–29 April 2012. The visit was led by Dominique Bizimana, then Rwanda's NPC president and a member of its London-bound sitting volleyball team. The IPC account records participants' interest in continuing the sport and the need for equipment and suitable playing space. It provides an early example of African cooperation to introduce Para sport in South Sudan, well before its formal IPC admission.
