Lassam Katongo recognised for Paralympic education in Zambia

The IPC selected two-time Paralympian Lassam Katongo for the male athlete I'mPOSSIBLE recognition associated with the Tokyo 2020 Closing Ceremony. Its account highlighted his work as a teacher, coach and NPC board member promoting inclusion through Paralympic education. Zambia had received Agitos Foundation support to activate the programme in 2019, with training reaching 145 teachers, coaches and volunteers. The recognition connects an athlete's experience with classroom learning and efforts to create more inclusive opportunities for young people.
